About the Role

Our Terminal Operator in Gladstone assists in managing daily terminal operations across our 2 sites to ensure that safe and reliable operations are maintained, meeting and supervising on-site contractors and visitors, scheduling, administration, and reporting. Working as part of a supportive team, each day differs but you will fully train in all aspect of the role including assisting in the delivery of ordered bunkers, carrying out daily duties around the terminal and operating the blending station. Lots of variety, working outside on the waterfront and in the office.

About You 
Being a go-getter with a strong team-playing attitude is essential, as is a willingness to learn new things, great time management skills and solid organisational skills. An eye for continuous improvement is a big plus as is an ability to use MS Office software. If you have previous experience working in high-risk environments this is desirable, as safety is always our number one priority. 

If you also have previous shipping experience this is highly desirable but not essential - ATOM provides all necessary training to get you up to speed in aspects of bulk fuel terminals.

Flexibility in your availability is important, as our terminal operational needs can sometimes span outside of regular hours with some nights and weekends.  Work life balance is important and this is taken into account.
