Why this role matters
This role is based in Esperance, and is responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the Esperance fuel terminal. As Terminal Manager, you will provide day-to-day leadership, set safety and performance standards, and ensure the terminal meets operational, regulatory and customer requirements.

What you’ll be trusted to do
Put safety first – always
- Lead HSSEQ performance and promote a strong safety culture
- Lead incident response, risk management and emergency preparedness.
- Ensure all activities are executed safely and compliantly.
Run the terminal end-to-end
- Oversee the safe receipt, storage and distribution of fuel products.
- Manage maintenance and improvement programs that balance safety, reliability and cost.
- Apply Management of Change for site upgrades and improvements
Own the numbers
- Manage operational and maintenance budgets.
- Contribute to capital planning and cost control.
- Be the face of the terminal.
- Build effective relationships with customers, partners and contractors.
- Liaise with ports, regulators and internal stakeholders.
- Share best practice and support continuous improvement.
- Specialist accountability (where applicable).
- Marine interface oversight as a Shore Officer, ensuring safe vessel discharge and marine risk control.
What we’re looking for
You are a hands-on, experienced operational leader suited to a regional site, comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of day-to-day outcomes. You bring a calm, structured approach to safety and risk, lead small site teams and contractors by example, and build strong local and stakeholder relationships.
